Our Story

We are Maritza and Freddy, siblings and founders of Hill Country Washery. Our mission is simple: provide dependable, high-quality commercial laundry services with the kind of personal care only a locally owned business can offer.

Before starting Hill Country Washery, we built careers in social services and insurance, where attention to detail, reliability, and exceptional customer service were essential every day. Those experiences shaped the way we serve our clients and continue to guide everything we do.

Our story began in the small town of Falfurrias, Texas, where we were raised by hardworking parents. One worked in the oil field while the other was a schoolteacher, and both taught us the value of responsibility, integrity, and taking pride in a job well done. Like many siblings, we spent plenty of time debating whose turn it was to do the laundry, but those everyday chores taught us lessons that have stayed with us throughout our lives.

Today, Hill Country Washery is built on those same values. We understand that clean, fresh linens are an important part of your business and your reputation. Whether we serve a vacation rental, restaurant, salon, fitness center, or hotel, we treat every order with the same level of care and attention we would expect for our own family.
